STONEWARE
arcilla de buena calidad 70% (arcilla caolinitica), feldespato 20% sílice 10%, mesh 200-400,
temperatura cocción 1.150-1.250 Celsius, maximum.
PORCELANA
caolín 80-95%, silice2-10%, feldespato 3-10 %, mesh 300-500, temperatura de
cocción mínima 1.250-1.350 Celsius.
Hay muchas variedades de porcelana, y todas se
diferencia a base del caolín empleado. Igual con el stoneware (gres) que
puede ser de diferentes colores, en base al color de la arcilla base.
La gran diferencia es el componente de caolín. En
porcelana el caolín esta en un 70-95 por cientos. En stoneware, y/o gres de
alta temperatura el caolín esta en solo 10-15%, y solo en los stoneware de
buena calidad.
En los stoneware de buena calidad, si se quiere tener
durabilidad, como en las baldosas, se agrega 1%-2% zirconium. También se puede
agregar chamota, pedazos de arcilla, stoneware, triturados y molidos para
malla 200 (mesh 200). |

We (Hedi
Enghelberg-Founder 1987) make the first refractory ceramic
dinnerware for commercial, industrial and home use in oven and
microwave in Venezuela, since 1987. It is the biggest ceramic refractory
ceramic (Pyrex type) in Venezuela, using local material, and
started in 1987, with 750.000 output max. capacity. I have a special
formula for this ceramic paste, called Electric Stoneware 1300.
It is the only factory in South America using large electrical kilns
(ovens), made by Nabertherm the Mercedes-Benz of electrical kilns in the
world)
We
produce as well vitrified decals, hand-made serigraphic that decorate
ceramics, glass and porcelain, It is the only factory in Venezuela. In
the word there is a club of about 50-60 well know ceramic decals factory
with our capacity.
This is a
very special niche and we are a leader, that rivals only with similar
factories Japan, China, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal. Our
hand made dinnerware is comparable with Villeroy-Boch, the famous belgian ceramic factory. We have received in 1989 guidance and
consulting from one of the ceramic engineers of Villeroy-Boch.
